SWEETNESS AND HYDRATION

Sweetness and hydration

Many of you have been asking me to recommend a hydration mask to use in between facials whenever skin gets really dry from exfoliation products. I did some research and the truth is that a lot of the store offered masks contain either coconut oils, carrageen extracts or other poreclogging ingredients , which are not recommended for acne prone skin.

So I thought – what benefits would my clients want to achieve with this mask?

1. Hydration. What natural ingredient gives us hydration? Honey !! Honey is a natural humectant , which means that is helps the skin retain moisture even in dry climates.

2. Brightening. – Brightening is achieved through exfoliation. We want the exfoliation to be really light with this mask, in order to preserve the hydration effect of it. The perfect ingredient for that is Lactic Acid, which is contained in yogurt. Even though I don’t recommend the consumption of dairy, it is excellent to use as a topical.

3. Youthfulness. Antioxidants are the main agents that slow down the aging process. Cocoa powder is packed with antioxidants and vitamin B complex, which nourish the skin and give it a beautiful glow.

And Voila !!! You have yourself a
